Agricultural Products
- The main agricultural product that the RF/V dryer dries is field baled timothy hay. It dries this product from moisture contents between 14-25% down to 9-11%.
- It dries roughly 15 tonnes of square baled timothy in approximately 3 hours.
- Benefits to forage:
- a vacuum drawn in the chamber minimizes chemical oxidation which allows the product to retain its natural color and odor
- improved digestibility because the product form from the field is not altered
- increased processing because higher moisture forage can be dried quickly
- improved grade since there is reduced weathering in the field
