Timothy Hay

  • Timothy hay is a nutrious source of fibre which is necessary for ruminant function.
  • The high quality fibre is the most effective way of achieving increased milk production in dairy cattle.
  • Also, the long fiber and consistent texture of Timothy hay allows for good consumption and provides good conditioning for both dairy and beef cattle.
  • Timothy hay is also popular in the race horse industry.
  • Timothy hay is preferred over other forages because it has a relatively lower level of Vitamin A or Beta-Carotene.
  • Timothy hay is suitable for horses, dairy and beef cattle.
